Allegations (This is the one I finished.  It has become something better and greater.)

Synopsis

A rumor gets to Bishop Henry R. Boston (pastor of Parkridge Pentecostal Church) that DeAndre Woodside (Main character) is gay. The Bishop goes to several people other than DeAndre or his cousin, Jasmine Woodside-Creekstone (Main character) to find out if it is true. The rumor gets around church and grows from there. Rumors still fly even after DeAndre and Jasmine leave Parkridge.

DeAndre has to deal with people talking behind his back, especially after he leaves the church to go to another church in the city and even more after he moves to another city.

Jasmine has to deal with people talking about her cousin behind her back and smiling in her face. She also doesn't receive any help for her pain from the leadership of the church even after she seeks it. She goes to the Bishop for help; all he does is talk about her cousin and try to prove to her that he didn't spread the rumor.
